Your eye test seems suspect to me. How do you know he isn't trying
to get on base and "be a catalyst"? The dude leads the league in WAR, too. And for the purposes of this thread, I don't think Gomez is even a known quantity to casual fans, so he doesn't qualify as "overrated" IMO.
