But just because something looks "slick" doesn't mean it is actually more efficient, right? Even if BP looks a little less smooth than those guys, it doesn't mean he's less effective at turning it. You've got to have something more than the eye test to merit a coaching intervention. There's got to be some kind of results-based problem you are seeing.
And... I watch the Reds a lot, and regularly marvel at how fast he turns the DP. So there's that.
I think if I were coaching BP I'd leave his D alone and try to get him to walk more. But that's just me.
