Well it has.
To your last point:
1) I think that's happening, albeit through eyes on television instead of butts in seats.

2) Given the economic realities in the game, I think this consumer shift is just fine by Reds management. At this point, a sold out stadium is merely a cherry on top. Which I'm confident will continue to be the case for Opening Day and any home playoff games. Besides that, I think in-park attendance is much ado about nothing.
