I guess every team's announcers are homers in the end, although each has their own brand of personality. Perhaps they tend to mimic the persona of the team they cover? The Cards broadcast team seems to subscribe to the purveyors of all that is good in baseball mentality that the team employed for years. And if you beat them, it's more about the Cardinals' failings than it is about the winning team's efforts. The PIT team seems to possess the same thoughts that the players do, one of which is every HBP was intentional.
