Neyer's piece notes that B.J. Szymanski has a "race horse type body" and that he resembles John Olerud. I'm going to assume that resemblance is only from the neck up, because Olerud got a nice, possumy figure. You can't be both athletically architected and built like John Olerud. And if it's only a facial resemblance, why bother to include it? That Olerud line is either completely incogruous or totally irrelevant.
Baseball isn't a magic trick ... it doesn't get spoiled if you figure out how it works. - gonelong
