The big newspapers can cry all they want, but their day as the sole source of news are over. If they ever start charging, most people will simply move on to other sources, just as some here have said.
That is exactly why I stopped getting the paper here in Oregon... well Sunday that is I stopped getting the rest because it stinks.
But the Sunday paper was nothing more than recycle bin foddor, as is the Atlanta paper to the power of ten.
I get one paper, the NY Times on Sunday, no classifieds, na ad inserts that are larger than a page. But no comics too.
