I would say that the vast majority of Reds fans don't know who anyone in the front office is. Most of them don't know who Dan O'brien is, and the rest of the story is, they don't care. They just think that the Reds are cheap and won't spend the money to bring in better players. I don't live in Cincinnati but that is the impression that I get.
We know that isn't the whole truth because we are die hards who follow every move of a baseball club on the way to nowhere. After you spend some time on this board, you start to wonder how some people could think like they do, but I was once there so I understand. 3 years ago, I couldn't have told you that John Allen even existed, and I have been following Reds baseball my entire life. I think that the new ownership group has the burden of changing the enviroment surrounding the Cincinnati Reds. Let's hope that starts on Thursday.
