Understood and I agree to a point. The network has to know what they were getting when they hired him and to want to change that very much would be foolish. Foolish to hire him in the first place or foolish to think he will be good at being a "corporate" guy. So my hope is that they hired him for who he is and not who they want him to be-there are a lot more flexible announcers out there for them to mold, if that was their goal. I'm sure he will censor himself to a point and won't be talking about his dog or building his new fence.
More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can't wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that's not only better, but also more directly involves me.
