It was one of the Reds' announcers. I heard the remark, but I don't remember whether it was TV or radio even, much less who said it. It was just an off-the-cuff comment, and I didn't think too much of it.
I know a lot of people who resent mens' programs in non-money-making sports being cut because of Title IX. I don't know that I agree with their views, but I also don't know if I'd really consider this sexist.
But I haven't thought as much about it as some. I could be wrong.
