It seems there's a big Miami Hurricane connection to this list. I wonder if it will effect future drafts.

Not sure if it's already been posted, but Ryan Braun has now been connected to this clinic as well.

And I didn't notice before but Yasmani Grandal got named in that list with ARod.
I wonder if Alonso juiced... man that Latos trade is looking rougher day by day for the Padres..

    Pete deserves better.

PED's don't matter and this is all a witch hunt is what plenty will say. The enabling fans are really just as much a problem as anything else.

The Sports Guy has a pretty interesting column on "PED profiling" over on Grantland.

I made a thread in the sundeck in December about this and said the problem was still rampant. I know a few Aussie baseballers that play in the minors and the majors still and they have never said they are doing themselves but basically that its pretty easy to avoid detection. I have been told you have to be tested with 24-48 hours to get caught so your chances are slim. I play over here so I share dug outs so take it for what it is but I admit I have a different view of the game now.

The cheats will always be ahead of the tests. That's why it's extremely important that the punishment be incredibly stiff.

Until the punishment starts really being prohibitive you won't see players stop cheating on a wide scale, IMO.

Braun is admitting to using Bosch... for consulting purposes with his appeal.

"During the course of preparing for my successful appeal last year, my attorneys, who were previously familiar with Tony Bosch, used him as a consultant," Braun said in his statement.

"Hey Tony, what are some good excuses I can use that are believable..? Really, an arbiter might by a chain of custody argument..? Sounds far fetched, but I'll give it a try... thanks."
