Now two other marshals - how many marshals would that make it for this twosome?- say they told Tiger that Sergio had hit. Well, this clearly is untrue if you look at the split screen. How difficult is it to marshal a tournament? How difficult is it to tell if another golfer has hit his shot or not?

Isn't "marshal" just a fancy title for the guys that carry the signs w/ the players scores or "quiet please"? Not to be mistaken for rules officials.

I believe you are right. But the question still remains; how could two marshals tell Tiger that Sergio had hit, when he clearly hadn't?

They told Tiger Sergio had hit after Tiger had taken the club out of his bag and Sergio had hit. Tiger made it sound like they told him that before he grabbed the club, but it was after. The sequence is what was miscommunicated.

Foot in Mouth Disease rampant on PGA tour

Garcia has clearly been a chronic sufferer ever since his career failed to match up to the hype-i.e. it was his game that was supposed to make him Tiger's arch enemy, not Garcia's whiney mouth.

But apparently, Garcia's affliction might be infectious:

    Ummm except Tiger wasn't lying:

So Sergiogate really is once again about Sergio stomping his foot and yelling the proverbial, "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!!!!!!!!". Dude, just get some freckle removal cream and beautify your game then shut up and smile.

If you're going to be racist Serg, at least be original. Better call Fuzzy to see how to handle this.

After the 17th at The Players I heard people in the gallery yelling GET IN THE WATER when he hit his shots. After this, I have no idea what boozed up galleries will have in store for him lol. He might wanna line up a string of European Tour events for a while.

Yeah, just going away is his best bet. He's done the impossible and made himself into the bad guy in a character struggle w/ Tiger Woods.

Think Rickie Fowler my break through this week, also like Speith and Yul-Noh. Anyone else got any fancies this week?

John Daly must have bodysnatched Tiger Woods this morning. Tiger is +8 for his first nine holes today. This includes a bogey, two double bogies and a triple bogey. He is now dead last in the field up at the Memorial.

Looks like the real Tiger has shown up. On the front nine (his back) he birdied three of the first five holes.

His 44 on the first nine was the highest 9-hole score of his career.
