Will mlb.tv ever open up it's library completely?

I personally would love to be able to watch old random games from different seasons in MLB history. I and like many others I am sure would pay plenty extra for that possibility. My question to people who know more about website technology and such, is that ever going to be a possibility? Would they be capable of hosting that much video? Other sports you can find games here and there posted by people but MLB is much more strict than other leagues.

Also here is a nice little TV open I stumbled across on youtube of a 1988 Reds TV opening. Features a very young Thom.

Most games prior to video technology are lost, most games in the infancy of video technology are lost because teams didn't keep boxes of tapes

Now we have digital moving forward and massive data banks to store the games, those will be available. But random games from the past not likely
