Whether he makes the team or not...it sure is nice seeing Nick Masset throwing again. Seems like forever (and probably longer to him) since we've seen him on the mound.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)

    Hamilton ROY & GG

Marshall got a new number? He was #51 last season, iirc.

He apparently went to his old number with the Cubs following Bill Bray's departure.

Oh yes, please. Anything we can do to recall a player's glory-soaked youth with the Cubs is a great idea.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

I have had the opposite reaction. I think they look horrible.

They look like a hat I would wear personally but I just don't think they look overly "professional."

For a BP hat, I think they look great. It's something new, fresh and fun... and baseball supposed to be fun, right?

A few teams decided to use a caricature/mascot on their BP caps this year (Mets, A's, Reds). The Braves decided to not use their indian mascot (which is probably a good decision). You can see all of the 2013 BP caps at the link below.
