How does Votto get named the Face of Baseball? First, he's very good. Second, there's little else to do in Cincy than vote in on-line polls.

Here we go. #SmallTimeTheatre RT @patmadl: @JoeStrauss Guess the only thing to do in STL is take cheap shots at Division Winning City then?

@JeffRiley4 Might be more impressive if Reds fans voted w/feet and actually watched Votto in person. RT that as well. #GreatAmericanCavern

Yep... you can clearly tell how arrogant a fan base is based on a snarky beat writer that even St. Louisans can't stand...

I got a TON of retweets (over 600) for coming up with "JoeyVottoing" The idea was similar to "Tebowing" but I wanted it to catch on so people would both do it themselves, and at the same time be casting votes for Votto since it was hashtagged. Dallas Latos and Jamie Ramsey both got behind it and it took off from there. It's died down already, but it was cool to get my 24 hours of twitter semi-fame!

I'm trying to upload the pics, but I can't seem to get it to work. Maybe later.
Benzinger backing and calling! And the 1990 world championship series belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!

Thanks! Probably the 2nd or 3rd time I've ever had a actual good idea in my 34 years on this earth. Haha!
