    Who would you keep?

    Sorry so long
7X7 ROTO Yahoo Points League. It's a 4 player keeper league.
5X5 plus OPS and 2B hitting and Loses and Whips for pitching.

For every player I keep I lose a draft pick that has been set. I can keep anyplayer drafted after the 3rd round. Example 5 year ago I drafted Carlos Gonzalez in the 11th round and every year he is placed 1 round closer to the 3rd round. Once a player reaches the 3rd round status it's the last year he can be kept.
    I'm keeping the following:
Jose Bautista losing a 3rd rounder (also last year I can keep them).
Carlos Gonzalez lose a 6th rounder
Bill Butler lose a 10th rounder

    My 4th player options are:
    Gallardo lose a 7th rounder
    Trumbo lose a 16th
    Utley lose a 22nd
    Peavy lose a 23rd
    Salvador Perez lose a 24th

    Who would you keep?

    Thanks for any help.

None of those are great options but I would go with Sal Perez, mostly because he plays a scarce position and only costs a 24th rounder. Gallardo would be the other guy I would consider.

I can keep 5 in my league

I have Trout, Braun, Votto, and McCutcheon

Debating Hanley Ramirez and David Price.

I am leaning Price, because I believe that Reyes, Tulo, and Zobrist will also be available in the draft.

I had replied, and then the post disappeared. Might be my fault

I would keep Gallardo or Salvador Perez. Gallardo can be a fantasy stud, and Perez has tremendous value at 24th round price. Utley and Peavy don't have age or health on their side. Trumbo is a big to uneven for my fantasy tastes, but in Roto you are probably ok with him too.

I am not a big fan of Ramirez but I think getting a hitter is better than a pitcher really early in the draft. The exception might be Strasburg. If you get any of the other big shortstops you can always play Ramirez at 3B. Pummel people with stud hitters. If you fall short on pitching you can always stream any halfway decent pitcher vs the Marlins or the Astros.

I'll vote Perez as well. Mainly because he costs a much lower pick than Gallardo would.

Perez and Trumbo. If you think you can get 30 HR and 90 RBIs from a 16th pick, I'll have what you are drinking.
