    C. Trent to the Enquirer

Trent Rosecrans will be joining the Enquirer in a week or two, backing up--"complementing" might be a better term--John Fay on the baseball beat. Details haven't been worked out, but Trent will be full-time and will periodically make road trips. He'll be going to Arizona in a couple weeks.

Best move the Enquirer has made in a very long time.

    I'm a big fan of C. Trent.
What if this wasn't a rhetorical question?

He did, but that job went away.

Happy to see the general return. Unlike his possible ancestor, he's never seemed confused like a duck hit on the head.

Met C. Trent a few times. A genuinely good guy. Glad to see him back.

If I were Fay, I'd be looking over my shoulder.

Wonder what happened at CBS, but I'm glad he is back do the Reds, always enjoyed him a lot more than John Fay

You guys certainly seem like a man who bashed Reds fans in the national media last October.

most Reds fans deserve to be bashed in the national media.

The woe is me Reds fan, drives me nuts. So yeah, call them out. Between, the bile spewed last October, and the insufferable "wooing", the knuckle draggers, were out of line.
The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.

That's good news. C. Trent is really good. He wrote for another paper in Cincy didn't he a few years back doing the Reds beat? I remember reading him and really liking what he did.

Good for him! I like his writing and I think he'll do a great job.
