I'm glad to see this. I've always been a fan of C. Trent.
It is on the whole probable that we continually dream, but that consciousness makes such a noise that we do not hear it. Carl Jung.
On March 31st, a friend of mine will have Trent on his show at MOTR Pub in OTR. The show is Ted Clark After Dark, and it's one of the most unique talk shows you can find. I really enjoy it. The last time he had Trent on, I got to ask a lot of questions, some of which were very inappropriate. I'll probably get even crazier this time around.
And btw, Trent's family should be happy to know that I offered to smoke with Trent, and he turned it down. He appreciated the offer though. Stand-up dude.

C. Trent is a fantastic baseball writer -- I've actually become friends with him since his days with the Post -- he's very unFaylike and will do a bang up job.
Where we gonna go?
It was probably both. He was a frustrated fan himself, pissed off at the way the series was trending. Decided to lash out at the fans. His assessment was right (IMO) but I can understand the Reds fans who were put off by the timing. It's clear Trent is a Reds fan who was upset about how the Giants series was going.
