    C. Trent to the Enquirer

Trent Rosecrans will be joining the Enquirer in a week or two, backing up--"complementing" might be a better term--John Fay on the baseball beat. Details haven't been worked out, but Trent will be full-time and will periodically make road trips. He'll be going to Arizona in a couple weeks.

Best move the Enquirer has made in a very long time.

He did, but that job went away.

Happy to see the general return. Unlike his possible ancestor, he's never seemed confused like a duck hit on the head.

Met C. Trent a few times. A genuinely good guy. Glad to see him back.

If I were Fay, I'd be looking over my shoulder.

To Fay's credit, he was very much an advocate of hiring Trent. He pushed for it.

Can you clarify which Trent Rosecrans you're referring to here? Not to be presumptuous, but is it "C" Trent?

Even John knows he's below replacement level.
