Joe Morgan- At the height of the BRM he hit 3rd and the Reds were not paying him to walk but walk he did! He had many fewer RBI than Bench and Perez. If he widened his zone, he could have had 100+ RBI instead of 132 walks! Plus he was not a good fielder which is why he had to play second. If he was a better fielder he could have been moved up a base to first or even to the guy who catches the ball. Perez was a much better fielder which is why they jumped him all the way from 3rd best to 1st best without making him play 2nd best on the way. Plus if was any good she would have called herself Morgan the Kissing Bandit instead of Morganna. I thought he was good when he managed the Sox however.
