Predict the Reds' opening day pitching staff 2013

Predict the starters. Predict the relievers. Tell us what happens to the others. Explain your answer.

Starters -- Cueto, Latos, Arroyo, Bailey, Leake. Chapman won't start the year in the rotation even if it's expected he will start later in the season.

Late inning pen -- Chapman, Broxton, Marshall, Hoover. At some point options become irrelevant. Walt and Dusty know Hoover needs to be in the pen. That's quite a foursome.

Middle inning relief -- Lecure, Parra, Ondrusek. Lecure is a lock. Parra beats out Arredondo to face primarily LHH. Parra can pitch more innings, and Jose walks too many and had a bad second half.

Ondrusek beats out Simon to open the season as innings eater, long man, jack-of-all-trades reliever.

Arredondo traded. Simon sent to DL with an acute case of WBCitis. Not enough work in spring training for Alfredo.

Cueto, Latos, Arroyo, Bailey, Leake, Chapman, Marshall, Broxton, Hoover, Lecure, Parra, Ondrusek.

Re: Predict the Reds' opening day pitching staff 2013

Starters- Cueto, Latos, Arroyo, Bailey, Leake

Middle Relievers- Arredondo, Ondrusek, Simon, Lecure

    Setup- Broxton, Marshall

    Closer- Chapman

I see Hoover going to Louisville since he has the options. Will be up when someone stumbles. Parra misses out now that Chapman is back in pen. So I see it playing out pretty much same as late last season.
