I am full blown ignorant on this subject. Has Peter Frampton ever played the Anthem and/or thrown out the first pitch? Opening day or otherwise? I know he lives in Cincy.

Rarely, if ever, does an Opening Day come and go without a flyover.

Not anymore. He moved to Nashville.

Well, I guess that means I won't be seeing him come out w/ Gov't Mule in the Nati next month huh?

    Thanks for the update.

According to Reds Twitter: Joe Torre will tossing first pitch on Opening Day

Maybe I am hard to please but once again I am left feeling very underwhelmed. Joe Torre does have name recognition but hardly signifies "Opening Day in Cincinnati" to me. He managed Team USA? Sorry, but big "who cares" from me. I understand his wife is from Cincinnati but come on....

And a fireman who nobody knows singing the anthem? Ugh. At least he has some sort of tie to the city.

Again I acknowledge that I may be being a tad picky. At 4:10 next Monday baseball is back and that is all that matters.

Considering sitting President's have been the guest of honor on Opening Day, I think you have a point. I'm sure Mayor Mallory would have come back for an encore.

Eh. I do understand the thought by many that Opening Day in Cincinnati is a huge deal and we'd like at least some A-list locals to partake in the pregame activities but it really doesn't bother me to much.
