The blame for wasting Chapman's potential in the bullpen falls on Chapman alone, and his lack of heart is Carson Palmer-esque.

    (That a strong enough opinion?)

Or I'm drunk. Both options are viable.

I believe MLB games should be played without a fence. Would add more excitement to the game. You would be able to tell exactly how far Giancarlo and others are hitting these long distance shots without the stands getting in the way. We would accurately know the longest homeruns hit. Would also not have to worry about people admiring homers since they are gonna have to get going. Be fun to watch Prince have to run out those blasts to get triples or homeruns out of them. They say triple is most exciting play and we would certainly have more of those. Outfield arms would become much more of a needed tool. Crazy, will never happen but would love to watch some games like this with MLB caliber talent.

    Strong Opinion:

I think the Reds best option for closer is Sam LeCure.

From what I've remember reading, there were some old Minor League and Negro League stadiums that didn't have walls all the way around, but used landmarks like RR tracks instead. This allowed some really fast outfielders to chase down some deep drives that normally would be home runs.

Sometimes the Negro League teams, when they were barnstorming, would play in cornfields where someone cut down enough of the stalks to create a field. Must have been crazy trying to run down one of Josh Gibson's monster shots and find the ball in the dried up bits of leaves and stalks!

    Strong Strong Opinion

I hate the Cardinals and the Cubs with the power of a thousand exploding suns.

    I do like pie, however.

By June 15th, Heisey is the regular left fielder and Walt is working the phones overtime.
