SS who hits and is willing to get on base via other means (BB and HBP). K rate isn't bad (14%) and power looks kind of promising. If he can stick at SS (and all reports are that he should be able to do just that), he could move fast. He is a bit behind the age curve and likely needs to be challenged. A move through Dayton to Bakersfield this season may be in the works this year.
I went with Vincej as well. .336/.393/.434 from a kid who was his conference's defensive player of the year, as well as the national shortstop of the year. High hopes.

Where are you hearing about power from Vincej? He hit 3 home runs in college, in three years. He hit one home run in Billings. He is 5'11 and 165. I haven't heard a single report on Vincej that suggests he is anything but a weak power guy.

If I might be so bold as to suggest a tiebreaker method if it comes to that . . . I don't think anybody is eager to hold a separate runoff. What about we decide it by who had the most votes in the previous poll? If it's three-way, you could also do second and third like that. Actually, that would complete the top 40.

Talked to a part-time scout friend who liked him in college. Said he's got some doubles/ triples power and, if it breaks right, can hit double figures as he matures.
