Oh well. Not the best way to start a season. A big injury. Bullpen already used. A loss. And strikeout after strikeout.
I guess this is about as bad an opening day as you could ask for.
No, but our pitching is better than the Angels. Cueto, Brox, Chap, were lights out. I was not impressed with Weaver or their bullpen. Their pitching will be their big problem, whereas our hitting will be ours. We averaged 3 runs a game for the final six week of the season last year. We couldn't score in the 3 games we lost in the playoffs. We have the same lineup except for Choo as last year. Now we have lost Ludwick. We are not going to be much better offensively than last year, when we were in the bottom third of many offensive categories.
