So the Cubs (and Brewers) are on top of the NL Central. I almost said "Cubs and Astros (and Brewers)", gotta get used to the change.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Orioles lighting up the Rays on a double and 3-run-HR to go from behind a run to up by 4 in the 7th. Nice example of a lineup with guys in the middle and bottom of the order doing their jobs after an intentional walk to rescue a win for their starter. What we SHOULD have been doing yesterday. 7-3 O's now in the 8th.

It is going to be a long summer for J. Arencibia. In the first two innings tonight he has three passed balls. Dickey is making it tough on him.
Zero chance the Reds miss the playoffs!

Keep an eye on the Rangers - Astros game. Don't want to jinx anything but Yu Darvish is having a great night.

Yep. Now going into the 8th. Thanks for the tip. Had been watching and wondering about the Jays.

Darvish should have an asterisk with the lineup he's facing.

    Re: Scoreboard Watching 2013

I remember a few times watching The Reds win Opening Day and being uber excited, then after the next game was in the books thinking ".......Oh. Right."

Glad it's The Astros' turn this time around.

7-0 Rangers and still nobody out in the top of the 9th.

Mature pitcher achieves ordinary feat against triple A lineup...
