    lol
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    Oh wow! SO CLOSE!!
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Can you believe there are those who say baseball is boring?

Random Tuesday night at 11 p.m., watching two random teams I don't care about and I was on the edge of my seat.

    Amazing.

And, in other news, tonight Michael Morse is tearing it up. Pacing the Mariners attack with a 3-run HR. Why oh why couldn't Walt have made a play for Morse a few months ago when we could have gotten him? Take on me indeed!

Cards go up 3-1 on a Matt Holliday 2 run homer in the top of the sixth.

And there will be countless Cards fans on BirdsOnTheBat still giving him every bit of disdain they can muster.

"Who cares if it was the go-ahead runs? It's the second day of the season... anyone could do that!"

I'm serious - you think Adam Dunn had it bad around here, Matt Holliday would kill to have Cards fan take it that easy on him.

Yep that sucked, Chase Field with the panels open is about the only park that liner gets out of and it had to come shortly after a HBP.

Vin Scully just dropped a Ted Kluszewski reference during the LA-SF game. I love hearing that guy call a baseball game.

It'd a tough choice between he and Morgan Freeman for who I'd want to narrate my life story.
