Here is a link to a GIF of Cobb getting hit. I would rather not embed it in case someone can't stomach the whole idea.

Pirates tied it up in the 9th. Stupid Pirates.

Good news on Alex Cobb: #rays say Cobb has mild concussion and all tests were normal.

Good news, never good when someone's head is involved.

    Cardinals 13-7 final

    Pirates 3-3, top 11

Pirates, with ungodly luck, nearly rallied. Beat out a grounder to second that looked to be a blown call, had the third baseman muff a ground ball. With runners on first and second, the Dodgers closer threw a ball to the backstop, moving the runners up. It went no farther, but the force is clearly with this Bucco team, sadly. For the moment, they're a half game behind us.

Yeah. And if today is any indication, Country Joe West would hate that .

Just noticed your Mike Shannon quotes. Makes you miss Jack Buck and son, I'll bet.

Jack Buck was a beauty, though Shannon is like that drunk uncle you can't help but love to listen to. You can literally tell when he's trashed in the booth. Makes for some entertaining games to say the least.

Yeah, basically whenever he's in the booth

Buck and Shannon might have been the best radio duo in my lifetime. Yep, even better than you know who. Although Vin Scully by himself is better than all of them combined.

Vin Scully is like listening to God on the TV.
