    Re: Scoreboard Watching 2013

Hi. I'm just testing this out to see if I have access to post here.

Edit: OK. That worked. Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself. I'm a lifelong Pirates' fan and I found this board last year. You guys have a terrific fan presence here, and I'm just interested in discussing baseball with other knowledgeable fans. I'm not a troll or anything like that. Best of luck to the Reds this year. I think the NL Central should have a good race, but I'm nervous about the Pirates. Our pitching is in shambles right now. We'll see what happens. You guys have a great team.

Lyons continues to prove he is not an MLB starter.

4-1 Marlins after 4. Ricky Nolasco, a bonafide major league pitcher on the mound for Miami. Cards are still scary though.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Torii Hunter hit his 300th HR.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Cards are making their game interesting. 7-2 with two outs in the ninth, bases loaded, Holliday up.

And Holliday strikes out looking! Reds and Bucs can gain a game!

And of course, the Cardinals and their announcers are whining about the called third strike.

And there was much rejoicing. The Cards finally lost a series....only 3rd one all year.

To the Marlins no less! To be totally honest, I don't see anyone catching St. Louis. I just think they are too good. But, the Marlins are a team that I'm sure they were expecting to sweep. I certainly was expecting a sweep.

Have the Reds played Miami yet? We've got all six games left with them.

They are not this good or as good as they have shown. No way Westbrook or Lynn were going to continue pitching how they have been. They will come back to the pack....which is not too far away from them at all.

The Reds are done with Miami for the year. 5-2 against them.

True. Lynn is good, but not that good. I think they made a mistake going with Westbrook over Wacha.
