First it is Chavez....who could barely move in his last few years at OAK....then he goes to NY and all of a sudden it is a miracle, he can move and hit. Now this guy. And people wonder why people hate the Yankees and their incredible luck or maybe it's the water left over in A-Rod's locker?

He lost 10 pounds or so in hopes of staying healthy, but he looks extra skinny due to the Pinstripes which make people looker slimmer than they actually are.

Oakland is loving Houston in the AL West as they have 6 of their AL leading 12 wins against them already.

I hate we have to go there for 3 while the Cardinals get then 4 times with a pair of then at home games while we get our extra game against the AL West vs the defending division Champion A's.

No Cardinals fans can deny their luck after this 4th inning vs the Phillies. Holliday walks on Hamels after falling behind 1-2, then Craig hits a ball to the right fielder who slips and falls as the ball lands right next to him for a double and then Molina hits a foul ball into the corner that the Ump call fair for a 2-0 lead.

    Re: Scoreboard Watching 2013

One of the more lucky wins I've seen for anyone in a while by the Cards They win it 4-3 and get two by the right fielder slipping and falling down on a can of corn followed by a 2-run double by Molina that was actually foul and was the difference in the game and the Reds moving into first place.

The Phillies then get 1st and 3rd with no outs in the 9th and can't get the ball out of the infield highlighted by Kozma bobbling a sharp grounder with the infield in and the Phils despite having the very fast Ben Revere don't have him going on contact, if the Catcher can make it to second on the bobble I would hope Revere could get home.

They out hit the Cardinals 13-7 with two of the Cardinals hits gifts as noted before but haven't they walked in 4 games plus one and one-third innings and that one was an IBB so they can't get a breakout inning. Wainwright hasn't walked or gave up a HR yet this year in 29 innings to save his ERA since he's allowed 2 more hits than IP.

The Braves are right there with the Cards in luck so far this year.

McCann is hurt so that lets Evan Gattis make the team and he has 5 HR and 12 RBI in 12 games, Chipper retires and they add Chris Johnson as a throw in with Upton and he he's hitting .438 and then there is Justin Upton who has been terrible away from Chase Field in his career and he has 9 HR in 15 games after it took him 107 games to reach 9 last year. That 9 HR in a month is a career high and the Braves have 11 games left including a trip to Colorado. Even Juan Francisco is hitting .318!

The others bats sucking bad with BJ at .167, Heyward .115, Uggla .173 and .188 for Simmons.

Good teams win looking like a million bucks, win ho-hum, and win ugly.

I don't like either team, but they'll both be in it all year.

Wieters hits a walk-off grand slam to give Baltimore 17 straight extra inning wins during the regular season, but lost the biggest one in Game 3 of the NLDS last year before losing the series in 5.

Adam Dunn now hitting .105 while striking out roughly 35% of the time. Just 3 walks. Slow start or bat speed gone?

Pete Kozma's BABIP has finally dropped to his historic AAA levels, and his OPS is down to .629, which is actually above his AAA levels.

His WAR is 0, as he's your typical replacement level player.

I think the "real" Pete Kozma has finally shown up.

When guys like Kozma have a nightmare, it's about "Attack of the Larger Sample Size".

Having said that, if Cozart goes down, we'd kill for a Kozma type to fill in.

Trumbo just hit a walkoff bomb in the 13th to clinch an Angel sweep of the Tigers. Big fly.

Maybe next we can get Adams to drop down from his .625 BABIP in the early going, when you add the HRs he's hitting .684 when making contact.
