Dodgers smashed by Braves 8-1....only the 6th and the stands are already half empty.

Why steal in the 9th when your run is meaningless?

Well, to pad your stats of course, if you are a selfish player.

I would fine McCutheon if I were the Pirates.

Cardinals endless supply of quality pitching continues as Wacha gets hit hard in the first inning against the Mets.

2-0 Mets after 1. It would have been worse for Wacha if not for some good defense by the Cards.

Cole having an interesting debut. He just hit a 2 RBI single at the bottom of the second. Pirates lead 2-0.

Yes...he got a good swing on a meatball. Wacha seems to be settling in now. The Mets are so pitiful.

Perhaps your updates would be better received on the Cards' boards.

It's a scoreboard thread, sure, but it's not likely a coincidence that you and other Cards' fans only post updates when something good happens. You sure weren't quick to update us when the Mets took a 2-0 lead in the first, were you? It's pretty transparent boasting.

He stopped throwing his curve, which was terrible tonight. Mets are so bad, all he needs is an average fastball and a decent change.

Because the Cards' chest-thumping is getting really tiresome around here. And there's a clear pattern of it.

Like I said, he only shows up to post updates when the Cards' score. Check back through this thread and you'll see a clear pattern.

Yeah, you are probably right....but the guy was not over the top or anything. Seems if a Card poster bugs you, he should just be ignored....yes?
