Bounce back to what? Do Cardinals fans know what regression means?

He was as good as you were going to see from him before the DL. # runs in 5 innings is a good start for him actually....moving forward.

I'm assuming you meant 3 instead of # and no that's not a "good" start for anyone. Westbrook isn't good, but he's not going to regress to a pitcher that allows 3 runs in 5 innings on a good night.

Yes that is what I meant. he might go 6 sure...but he will be giving up 3/4 runs a game, if not more...on most days. The guy is a RH Tom Browning circa 1992-93.

Don't look now, but the Cards are a .500 team for the last 10 games. Drifting back to earth?

Rookie Pirate pitcher just struck out the side. It is like every pitcher those two teams brings up had gold in their arms.

    Cards 5-4 after one.

Lynn's stats regressing to his talent level. Cards probably still win this one, thoough.

That Marlins pitching outside of about 2.....is brutal. I like the positives in seeing Lynn, start regressing from here on in. Wearing down by August as well.

Alex Cobb, pitcher for the Rays, just took a line drive off of the head. Being taken off of the field on a stretcher.
