I mean, Heisey isn't a pitcher or anything.
They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

I'm knew to ORG, so honest question: Is "Tadasimha" Japanese for "Dusty"?

It ended up being the right move because it worked.

I think the logic behind it was completely stupid, but for tonight at least it worked.

All these moves by both managers that are being called stupid probably only affected the win probability by a few percentage points each time. I disagree with the decisions made, but won't go as far to call them "stupid".

Interesting. Dusty shouldn't have bunted with Heisey IMO.

But Scioscia really doesn't know Votto. He took comfort in the lefty/lefty matchup. Votto is too good for that.

Had he walked Votto, of course, he still had tough hitters. But Phillips is a DP guy, the good play is to walk Joey and bring in a righty to face Phillips.

Then, of course, you could find yourself facing Bruce. Could be tough unless you have still another lefty.

Interesting, but I can't agree with Scioscia there. Cannot face Votto there.

    3. BP

    2. Latos

And the #1 star of the game- the guy they pay the big bucks to deliver when the game is on the line.

That was an early season important win.

I don't know, the bunt gives up the out and takes the bat out of our best hitter's hands (any other time this situation occurs.)

    I think that's a pretty bad move.

Lets say it's tied bottom of the 9th and Choo makes an out, Heisey hits what would be a routine double, should he just stop at 1st?

If Pujols didn't pull an Adam Dunn impression at first base, Scioscia looks pretty smart there. Just sayin'

I don't think Sciosia is the only manager who would try to get Votto out with the lefty - it did surprise me however.

Now Dusty is going to use this game as an example to defend his archaic ways. The gift that keeps on giving.

You aren't giving up the out there as well in that scenario.
