That's brutal. Cueto has his work cut out for him to get some early W's.
Get those sticks working... it's whacking day

As the wise philosopher Ric Flair said, "To be the man, you've got to beat the man!"
(Unfortunately the "Wooo's" were still in full effect on Opening Day.)
2013 Record at games attended: 0-1
Outside of Strasburg, none of them really scare the hell out of me or anything.
There's some good pitchers in there, but they're all beatable.
The game is changing, pitching is coming to the forefront, and managers are bringing in 5 guys a game who throw 95+ crooked stuff.
Given our 50 year history here in Cincy of slugging and not much pitching, we are just not used to seeing our Redlegs struggle at the dish. The Reds were just below league average last year at runs scored per game, have added Choo, but lost Ludwick. I think this year will be about the same.
Get used to it. Pray for pitching and defense.
sorry we're boring

Its early but I really hope this team does'nt do what they did last year with their slumps. The whole team would go about a month in a slump and not be able to hit nothing. The pitching is already looking good like last year and I hope they don't have to carry the offense for a month or so when they get in these terrible slumps.
I can spell,I just can't type!!
After last night's games, I'm not terribly concerned - you might not be either, after all it is early. There were some very good swings put on some pitches that ended up being caught at the wall. In warmer, lighter air, a couple of them might still be flying. I can't think of three that were tagged that died and fell into the fielder's glove.

Reds have scored 26 runs in four games.
That's an average of 6.5 per game.
I can like with that.
