Great thread! Great, heartwarming story. Any really funny the wallet stuff. Literally laughed out loud.

So I'm headed out for this weekend's series from the east coast but already bought the tix. Lesson learned: I'm a dumbass. Next time I'll defer ticket pre-purchase and I'll rent a 5 year old instead of (or, I guess, in addition to) bringing the +1.

I'm up for the nobel prize in comedy this year. Trying some new material. Also, I'm heavily medicated and not activley trying to kill myself anymore.

Amazing, I hope this nice fella knows what a treat and memory he provided you and your daughter! I work for a youth serving non profit and we often get tickets donated to games (college and MiLB). We give them to our kids/parents/mentors, but it never fails that some dont show up. I always enjoy going and standing outside and giving them to others that are walking up.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
