Bruce just stranded his 999th and 1000th runner of the season, nice.

Should Frazier be hitting 5th and Bruce 6th?

Well, he actually struck him out on a fastball away.

Maybe right now any pitcher that gives up an RBI hit to Bruce is an idiot.

If the Reds lose today, I sense a 12-page thread about whether Bruce is any good.

    Only with runners on.
Baseball is like church. Many attend, few understand

Saw that. Got ahead of him with slow stuff and blew him away with the heat. Bruce seems incapable of handling ANYTHING away at this point.

If the "same old Bruce" drives in 99 runs this year, I'm okay with that. You aren't?

I think Bruce needs people to quit expecting Joey Votto from him. He's definitely struggling but he's still a very good baseball player.

He's going to drive in 99 runs purely by default. Runners are always on base for him. It's perfectly reasonable for him to suck in the majority of those at bats and still drive in a lot of runs.

A 90mph fastball after three slow moving breaking pitches appears to be a lot faster than just 90, dont you listen to Chris Welsh.
