    Bruce has looked better.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Just chiming in to say that Pete Rose is still making money on TV commercials and that if the Reds win this series with essentially no offensive output from Votto and Bruce, it can't be a bad thing.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Bruce is an instinctual hitter, hitting his best when he isn't thinking, only reacting.

In that last at bat, it sure looked like he was trying to guess on every pitch. He was sitting on breaking ball away that last pitch and could not catch the heat.
    Makes sense.

They need to bring in a personal hitting coach for Bruce to get him right. It's obvious Jacoby isn't doing anything for him.

I'm wondering if we can get Stubbs back and send the Indians Jay Bruce, instead. I don't think it would be any worse.

How short of a leash does Mr. Arroyo get here? Simon and Para have yet to appear in a game this season.

    Dear Lord.

    It's the third game.

    The Reds are winning.

    Enough with the Bruce nonsense.
