Last time I felt this good about a Reds team at the beginning of the season was 1990. We know how that worked out.

    This is awesome.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Think Jeff Brantley might be drunk.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

I don't know, with Choo on board this season, I'm not worrying as much about that as I did with Stubbs.

Regardless, thus far, this team is looking really good. I know it's only 4 games, and I'm curious as to how Leake ends up looking, but I'm feeling good right now

You're about to see nothing but home run swings this time up.

Exactly what I'm expecting, since I have tickets.

Same. #5s in a pitching duel. Go figure.
