I'm still a Hanigan apologist if only for his defense and game-calling ability.

I'll take him as a #8 hitter. Periodic HRs from that slot are blue birds.

Homer got squeezed there. Regardless, he's looking very comfortable. Smooth.

I think Hanigan is very, very underrated by most of Redszone.

Homer is all over the black. Looks extremely sharp.

A lot of nibbling right now from Homer tonight. 61 pitches through 3.1 innings won't keep you in the game long.

I don't think he's got a good feel for his curve tonight so he's really nibbling on the corners with the cutter and two-seamer and burying the splitty to get guys to chase.
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......

Bailey gets squeezed a lot. Asking the ump where it was doesn't help.

Not from here. IMO he's one of (if not THE) most underrated players in the game today. He should've won the GG last year IMO.

There are very few I would rather have behind the dish than Hanigan. But as mentioned for his career his bat is trending down. There will come a tipping point.

You start flip flopping the batting order based on who you think is "hot" on a nightly basis (when randomness often explains small sample size slumps and hot streaks), and you will have one unhappy team.

There is probalby a reason why successful managers manage for a 162 season, and not for 1 game.

Pitching and defense. As long as we continue to get pitching like this with Hannigan behind the plate, i will oppose complaints about him.

Bailey closing in on 70 pitches.
Arise and walk, come through. A world beyond that door is calling out for you. Arise and walk, come through. It's calling out for you.
