    Re: Redszone's Favorites

Leake is quickly becoming one of my non-favorites. He is getting the ball up in the zone today. He needs more sinking action on his pitches.

It's only 1 game, but paired with last seasons results, and considering there's never anything wrong with upgrading, I can see 5th starter as something to upgrade.

Things could get really interesting if Cingrani just dominates at Louisville and Leake struggles.

Like the fact that Cingrani is a lefthander! They need a good one in the rotation. Hope he makes great strides this season.

    Cesar Izturis

Seriously, I was trying to think of the most disliked player on the team, and that's what I came up with. Like somebody else said, everyone is pretty like able.

He's not even top five, IMO.

Heisey's number one for most here, I would think.
    Leake's close.
    Ondrusek is way up there.
Many would insist Baker is horrid.
Hanigan's getting there, as Mesoraco is remarkably popular for how little he's produced.

    This is a joke, right?

I named my cat Votto. So, him.

No way Heisey is #1. I think Leake, Logan and Dusty are way above him.

    Re: Redszone's Favorites

Well my favorite Red is George Foster, and always will be. In fact, I wouldn't mind if he took over LF for the Reds until Ludwick is back.

Of current Reds, my favorite is Mike Leake. Last few years it was Drew Stubbs.

Since the Lost Decade, I like to pick one player whose expected to stink, and root for him to succeed. It's easy to root for Votto, Cueto, Choo, etc., but by making a player like Stubbs or Leake my favorite, I root for a player I normally would try to ignore. It's frustrating at times, but it makes watching games more interesting for me.

    Re: Redszone's Favorites

Votto is probably my favorite. Phillips has grown on me.
    Choo is a great addition.

I've got a soft spot for Chris Heisey. It's kind of like what 757690 mentions above, a dark horse you'd like to see come from behind and win.
And I have to root for Izturis when he gets some PT, since he's the only Venezuelan on the current roster.
