While true, Dusty isn't exactly managing the pen very well. Simon or LeCure should've been saved for multiple innings.

    Isn't it obvious?

    Parra threw two last night.

    Marshall apparently not quite ready.

Reds already used Chapman, Lecure, Simon, Broxton.

    That leaves Hoover.

It pretty much has to be Marshall not being available why Hoover is in. Parra pitched 2 innings last night.

It's Walt's responsibility to place someone on the DL if they're unavailable. I'm sure if Marshall could go, Dusty would use him.

Ramos with a long homer to center. 7-5 Nationals.

Early season "dead arm" for Hoover? Dusty's sacrificial lamb?

hoover and the bullpen has been overused so far, NEEDED to win the game in the 10th and couldn't do it. IMPERATIVE Cueto goes 7+ innings tomorrow

Totally on Dusty and the Reds. If Marshall is hurt you DL him and bring up a fresh arm.

    Mismanagement. There goes another one.

    Ridiculous.

Dusty is Dusty. No reason for Hoover to be in today, especially with his shaky results. Oh well. Another homer? Just stupidity.
