    You are right. But he came up through the Reds' organization. He started out for the Reds at Billings. I consider him home-grown.

    Tough crowd. I posit an honest question and I get a bunch of wise guys (many smileys here).

    And I think we got EE from the Rangers in the Rob Bell trade and Willie Greene came from Expos when Reds traded John Wetteland.

    Buddy Bell grew up in Cincinnati.

    He's home grown.
