Hopeful signs for a breakout? Those 2 BBs today. A Frazier with some plate discipline and that bat speed could be super fun to watch.

Frazier is one of those guys you want to root for. You can tell he loves what he's doing.

Never thought an average minor leaguer would turn into the current version of Todd Frazier. But I'm so happy for the guy.

    Even his defense has improved.

It's too early to say, but maybe Frazier is one of those guys whose numbers actually get better once he gets to the majors. Usually that isn't the case, but every now and then it does happen.

If what we saw last year, and what we've seen this year (I mean within reason, as he isn't going to hit .400) isn't fools gold then this team is really set with Frazier, Votto, Bruce and Phillips for a very long time.

Not sure when they release NL Player of the Week honors, but he's gotta be #1 or #2 for the opening week.

He might not have even been the best player on the team last week.

Absolutely. Imagine too if Hamilton can translate to the MLB? We'll have the best hitting core in the league in my opinion.

That said all Frazier does is rake. He's also a beast -- takes a 98MPH off the arm like it ain't no thang.

    I couldn't see a situation where Justin Upton doesn't win the P.O.W.

Me either. Frazier should come in second though.

Although now that I look at it Frazier actually leads the entire league in WAR.

Just a bump. Continues to be a great contributor for the team. Quickly becoming one of my favourite players.

Would love to see BP back at 2 and Frazier bumped to cleanup.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
