I can't figure AT out ?
At is a preposition meaning in the direction of. Did that help?

He thought the ball was over the CF's head for sure. Honestly, sitting on the 3b side, I did as well.
If it had a chance of dropping in Todd would have been able to score. He probably should have stayed closer to the base as he still would have scored easily, but it was not an egregious mistake.
When a runner is on 2nd base with one out, he doesn't go back to tag unless he is absolutely sure it will be caught. Otherwise, it may prevent him from scoring if the ball goes off the wall right to the fielder.
With no outs, he always makes sure he can tag up as getting to third with 1 out is very important, less so with with 2 outs.
It's the way it is always played by all runners. It was not a mistake, routine play.

I believe he should have been closer to the bag to tag up. Honestly, he should be able to score from about 10 feet off the bag if that falls in. You need to put yourself in a situation to tag up if caught, or score if it drops. Not egregious, but he could have played it better.
They showed it over a couple of times and it looked like he had started running because he thought it dropped then turned back and it looked like he couldn't make a decision the whole way (moving back and forth a couple times).
It was a close play. Didn't end up making a difference.
I see great things in baseball. It's our game.
I don't think you fault Todd for much there at all. His base running on the play didn't look "pretty" which doesn't help matters.
A great baserunner probably could have seen how deep the ball was, and found a sweet spot where he could either tag up or score, but I have better things to worry about.
Huh? It was the 9th inning, game tied, and he was the potential game-winning run. As for the play itself, it was one of those tweeners. It got to the wall quickly, leaving little time to make a sure decision. I didn't think it was a big deal at all. Certainly not blaming Todd for it, as he did nothing wrong, IMO.
