This Indians team will do well to finish out of the basement in its division.

This reads more like a Bleacher Report post than a FanGraphs one.

The converge has progressed to stage 2 in spite of the unbelievers. The Ohio teams are on a course set for collision and then there can only be one. The last time this course was deemed possible was last century (1995).

The Indians won more games then us, who'd have thunk it.

also I just cannot hear any discussion of Cleveland as a city without immediately thinking of this

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

There was a lot of people touting Cleveland this Spring. I was a huge non-believer. Congrats to them. I still don't know how they did it.

I must have missed a universe. Tip of the cap though to the Indians. =)
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

Obviously Dusty Baker > Terry Francona. Clearly it was pure randomness that the Reds underachieved in third place and while Francona's team was the surprise of the AL.

21-6 September for the Tribe to come out of nowhere to host the WC game.

Somebody tell Luddy the Indians drew 1 million less fans this season than the Reds and yet won two more regular season games. The 18K a game at the Jake (refuse to call it Progressive Field) must be really, really loud.
