At this point I'd be thrilled with 6 if he can give up no more.

Werth strikes out swinging. 3-3 mid 4th.

Huge for Cueto to win that battle with Werth. Huge!

Mark Sheldon just posted an update on Sean Marshall and it still seems largely unknown what is going on with him. That is really turning into a mess especially for a bullpen that has already dealt with two extra inning games.

    Same.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

It seems like a complete failure of the medical staff and front office that this is stilll going on.

a shame -- this seems to happen too often here that someone is day to day before the get the DL -- maybe this will be the exception but I think it has hurt us so far
