Don't forget to mention Stevie Strasberg.

Cueto certainly made the best of what he had today -- my hat is off to him

"They are loaded," said by every anchor in America. Hearing that term about the Nats has made me ill since January. Never mind the Reds won only one game less than that franchise last year.

Yeah I'm impressed too. Then consider if he somehow got Suzuki out rather than give up the dinger...he could have actually put up 6 scoreless today.

As of now 1.5 game lead in the division after 2 series with arguably 2 of the top 5-6 teams in baseball. Now that's makin' hay.

In stock market terminology they are "underweight".

I know many analysts want to be ahead of the curve when it comes to projecting the success of Harper/SS (which is going to happen)...but I too found it odd how they have been considered the clear World Series favorite.

From what I've seen, they lack the defense and bullpen of a World Series favorite. An excellent team, but they have some significant flaws.

Nothing makes me happier than to see a starting pitcher go 6 and then for 3 different relievers to pitch runless innings. It puts a smile on my face to see a bullpen hold on to the lead like that.

I've heard plenty of praise for the Reds this year. Not sure I'm understanding the bitterness towards the nats.

They are a very very good team.

And the Reds whipped them this series.

    Rejoice!
