It's not a sensitivity issue; my feelings aren't hurt. It's the overreactions from people spitting out absolutes about how Cueto is lost because he gave up 3 runs in the second inning to a good offense. It's just silly stuff.

Nightmare was an exaggeration, to be sure.

The ONLY players who I think should be DFA'ed after the game are Cueto and Hanigan. I don't want to start from scratch or anything.

I must've missed that post, but even still, calling Cueto "inconsistent" is enough to make a gamethread a "disaster?"

This is professional baseball and these are highly-paid grown men playing it. Criticism, when properly levied, is okay.

But Cueto isn't inconsistent. He's been astonishingly consistent for a couple years now.

I agree; over-reactions are no fun to read. But I have seen nothing in this thread that could be construed as such. Maybe I missed something.

Just don't like it when people confuse spirited baseball discussion for calamity and complaining. It's why we're here, no?

The Reds #5 starter Leake would give up about 3 runs in those 6 innings, so over a small sample size of 1 game, it's not really a huge difference.

In reality, that's the difference between an ace and a #5.
but that assumes there will no more runs given up by either of them to maintain that stat!
The older I get - the better I was

and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

    I miss Raisor

I never said he was and I am not criticizing him.

At this rate the score will be 13.5 to 13.5 going into extra innings.
