    tv question

    so this is stupid. Some of you know i live on the border of Texas and Oklahoma,and everytime the Reds play the Cards I have to watch the St. Louis broadcast because it is blacked out due to it being regional coverage. i dont understand this seeng how I live about 7 hours away from St. Louis.

    The Cardinals must claim the area you live in as theirs. That's the reason for the blackout. MLB teams can basically claim any territory they want. The Reds claim territory as far south as Mississippi and even into Tennessee and North Carolina. No rhyme or reason to it. Just flat out archaic and will never be changed until Selig is gone.

    Here's a blackout map for MLB from WIKI. Looks like Oklahoma is claimed by the Cards and Rangers.
