I disagree. Plus it'd be dumb to to move him to LF and Heisey in CF when it's no guarantee that Ludwick will ever be back and that Heisey will pan out.

Billy Hamilton is going to be the Reds CFer next day, barring a disaster. Playing Choo there for 3 months in hopes that an old dude coming off shoulder surgery plays well doesn't seem like a good plan to me.

Get a run. Who is St. Louis bringing in Boggs?

So assuming Luddy does come back, you want Choo to get used to start playing CF again in August in the midst of a playoff/WS run?

My only thought is that Ludwick will take back LF when he's back, and they want Choo to have as much experience in CF as possible going into the playoffs. If Ludwick comes back healthy, that may work out fine, but it's definitely going to lead to some mistakes early in the season

I'd rather play my best defensive lineup 3+ months. Deal with Ludwick coming back if/when it happens. We know it won't be for awhile.

I agree. Three months is a long time.
