Washington Nationals lineup:
Span - CF
Werth - LF
Harper - RF
Zimmerman - 3B
Tracy - 1B
Desmond - SS
Espinosa - 2B
Ramos - C
Detwiler - P
Glad to see Bruce in there. Welsh mentioned he may get the day off.
Odd stat of the day:
Sin-Soo Choo leads the majors in hbp with three. No other team has that many.
Leake v. Washington in his career:
3-2 5.13 ERA
Detwiler v. Cincinnati in his career:
0-3 3.16 ERA
When did Leake get a haircut?
Brantley notes that Leake has good downward movement on his fastball. 1-2-3 first inning for Leake; who made a fine play on a liner off the bat of Bryce Harper.
Pretty amazing reaction there from Leake. A lot of fastballs from Leake in the 1st inning....only a few changeups and a few cutters.

Joey Votto, Oscar nominee
Pretty scary. Only a couple inches from his face.

Phillips flies out to right. 0-0 after 1.
Kelch trying to dig something up by saying that could've been payback for the 15th run last night.
I don't think so and I hope that we don't go all Cardinals on them and plunk someone later.
